1. Periodically power down the unit to clean out dust and debris from the interior, maintaining a clean and tidy environment to prevent dust accumulation from causing short circuits or electrical leakage.

2. Inspect the cabinet door locks, hinges, and sealing gaskets to ensure they are intact and functioning properly, thereby guaranteeing effective protection against rain, dust, and moisture.

3. Regularly tighten all wiring terminals and screws to prevent loosening, overheating, or arcing; pay particular attention to the incoming power lines and the main circuit.

4. Examine the insulation on all wires for signs of damage, aging, or discoloration; if any abnormalities are detected, replace or repair the affected wires immediately.

5. Check components such as circuit breakers, residual current devices (RCDs), and contactors to ensure they operate smoothly and show no signs of scorching, unusual noises, or overheating.

6. Observe indicator lights and instrument displays to verify they are functioning normally, ensuring that all operational status indications are accurate.

7. Verify that the grounding and neutral connections are secure and reliable, free from any looseness or breaks, to ensure effective grounding protection.

8. For distribution boxes located outdoors or in humid environments, check for any signs of water ingress or condensation, and promptly implement appropriate moisture-proofing and waterproofing measures.

9. Periodically test the residual current device (RCD) to verify that it trips correctly, thereby ensuring the effectiveness of its protective function.

10. Strictly prohibit the stacking of miscellaneous items inside the cabinet or the unauthorized modification of wiring; maintain clear labeling of all circuits to facilitate inspection and maintenance.

11. During hot seasons, increase the frequency of inspections; ensure adequate ventilation and heat dissipation to prevent components from operating under prolonged overload conditions.

12. Establish a maintenance log and conduct comprehensive inspections on a regular basis; immediately address any identified safety hazards to prevent minor faults from escalating into major issues.
