What Is This Product? – It Is a Compact High Voltage Cabinet for Ring or Dual Power Supply
A High-Voltage Ring Main Unit (RMU) is used in 12kV to 24kV distribution systems.
You often see it in city power grids, commercial buildings, residential areas, and solar or wind box substations.
It can work in a ring network or as a terminal distribution device.
This product meets IEC 62271-200 and GB 3906.
Rated current is 630A.
Short time withstand current is 20kA for 3 seconds.
The cabinet uses gas insulation (SF6) or solid insulation. It is small and maintenance-free.
We use a load break switch plus fuse combination, or we can add a vacuum breaker.

What Materials and Processes Do We Use? – We Use a Stainless Steel Gas Tank or Solid Epoxy Insulation
For gas insulated RMU, we weld a sealed tank from 3mm stainless steel plate.
We fill it with SF6 gas at ≤0.04MPa. The yearly leakage rate is ≤0.1%.
For solid insulated RMU, we cast everything in epoxy resin. No gas, no pollution.
The main switch is a three-position load break switch: closed, open, and grounded.
Mechanical life is 5,000 operations.
The fuse protects the transformer and clears faults in ≤10ms.
The cable compartment has enough space and supports front or rear cable entry.
Protection rating: gas tank IP67, outer shell IP4X.
Our factory is 2,000 square meters with ISO9001 certification.
